About Project
Driver007 was designed for logistic and fleet management businesses that experience challenges with last-mile delivery. The client is one of the biggest logistic companies; it felt that there was need to implement a system that would act as a hub in the delivery of goods. This was to be achieved with the vision of improving flow of logistics companies or drivers whether company based or contract, and retailers.
With regards to these core issues, Driver007 was designed to enhance and bring efficiency in the process, wherein the different aspects of order management, scheduling and tracking delivery, payment gateway integration are considered. The client’s vision is to give the core idea of designing a total solution where it can offer better productivity and customer satisfaction.
The Challenges
The act of creating Driver007 entailed some issues that have to do with ensuring customer satisfaction for all the stakeholders involved. The main question was to provide an opportunity to unite different functions in one platform for logistics companies, drivers, and different types of retailers.
Flow, payment, and interface must also be seamless with accurate tracking in real time were other major challenges. Also, achieving scalability to accommodate increasing volume of service requests and at the same time maintaining efficiency of the system for optimal performance posed a setback. It was important to overcome these issues in solving the case to develop a reliable, effective, and stable model.
